Terms & Conditions – Skin Services

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the skin services provided by The Skincare Store Ltd.

Our services are designed to help ensure professional skincare products are suitable for your skin and to provide personalised skincare advice where applicable.

All services are provided remotely using information and photographs submitted by you. They do not include a medical diagnosis and are not a substitute for advice from a GP, dermatologist or other healthcare professional.


2. Our Services

2.1 Free Essential Skin Check-In

The Essential Skin Check is a free eligibility screening designed to determine whether professional skincare products are appropriate for your skin before access is granted.
This is not a skincare consultation and does not include personalised advice, a treatment plan or product recommendations.

If, after reviewing your submission, we believe your skin would benefit from more detailed support, we may recommend booking a Comprehensive Skin Consultation before purchasing certain products


2.2 Comprehensive Skin Consultation

Our Comprehensive Skin Consultation is suitable for clients seeking personalised skincare advice for concerns such as ageing, pigmentation, acne, rosacea or sensitive skin.

Your consultation includes:

  • A detailed review of your consultation form and photographs.
  • A personalised skincare plan.
  • Product recommendations tailored to your skin.
  • Ongoing email support for four weeks following your consultation


3. Your Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information.
  • Upload clear, recent photographs following our guidance.
  • Inform us of any allergies, medical conditions, pregnancy or breastfeeding where relevant.
  • Follow product instructions carefully.


4. Payments & Refunds

Only the Comprehensive Skin Consultation requires payment.

Once work has begun reviewing your consultation, refunds cannot be provided.

 

5. Redeemable Credit

Applies only to Advanced and Deep Dive Consultations.

Value: £50 per consultation.

Must be used toward the purchase of two or more products within 4 weeks of consultation completion. Extension of this period is not offered.

Cannot be combined with other offers unless explicitly stated.

Not redeemable for cash.

 

6. Suitability

We reserve the right to decline access to professional skincare products where we believe they are unsuitable or where further assessment is required.

Completion of the Essential Skin Check does not guarantee access to all products.

 

7. Medical Disclaimer

All advice provided is cosmetic skincare guidance only.

We do not diagnose medical conditions or prescribe medication.

If we suspect an underlying medical condition, we may recommend that you seek advice from your GP or dermatologist before proceeding.

 

8. Results

Individual results vary depending on factors including skin type, medical history, lifestyle, adherence to recommendations and product use.

No specific outcome can be guaranteed.

 

9. Intellectual Property

Your skincare plan and any written recommendations remain the intellectual property of The Skincare Store Ltd and may not be copied, reproduced or distributed without written permission.

 

10. Acceptance

By submitting an Essential Skin Check or purchasing a Comprehensive Skin Consultation, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions.


Skin Rewards Terms & Conditions

Membership

  • Skin Rewards is free to join.
  • Customers must have an account with The Skincare Store to earn and redeem Skin Points.


Earning Skin Points

  • Members earn 3 Skin Points for every £1 spent on eligible purchases.
  • Points are awarded once an order has been successfully completed.
  • Delivery charges are excluded from earning points.
  • The Skincare Store reserves the right to exclude selected products or promotions where necessary.


Redeeming Skin Points

  • Skin Points may be redeemed against eligible future purchases.
  • Skin Points have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • Skin Points cannot be transferred to another person or account.
  • Points may only be redeemed through your registered account. 


Returns & Refunds

  • If an order is refunded, any Skin Points earned from that purchase will be removed from your account.
  • If Skin Points were redeemed against a refunded order, the value of those points may be deducted from any refund where applicable. 


General

  • The Skincare Store reserves the right to amend, suspend or withdraw the Skin Rewards programme at any time.
  • Any suspected misuse or fraudulent activity may result in points being removed or membership being cancelled.
  • Participation in the Skin Rewards programme constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
